A couple of weeks back I shot a wedding for a former colleague, and I had the chance to meet up with her today to show her some of the pictures. I’d already shared a gallery of what might be called the out-takes but didn’t want her to see the cream of the crop until I’d given her a box of prints from the day as my gift to her.
Marilyn falls into the “I hate to be photographed” category, and before the day I was conscious that I’d have to ask her to smile on a regular basis.
In the end though I’d needn’t have worried; she beamed constantly and looked beautiful. Here is a slide-show with some details from the day and my favourite portrait from the occasion.
