Adorable (Venezia 65)

You can’t help who you fall in love with.  Or what, it seems.

Doors and window shutters with flaking paint seem to be a magnet for photographers; they make a great background for fashion shoots due to the contrast between old and new.  I like them on their own.  I can understand why paint doesn’t really last on Italian properties, the intense sun (that we can only dream of in the UK), the heavy rain, the cold winters, the salt air must all combine to do their worst, and the Italian response is more “What’s the point?” than B&Q.

Isn’t she lovely?

Bit perplexed by that central handle though.
